spilled water on gas oven range stove now it flickers like it's about to turn on when its completely off?

Okay so I spilled water on the stove when it was off. Now it sparks every second like it's about to turn on but it doesnt, I smell a little but of gas but not too much. It's flickering in 3 of 4 stove tops. I've turned everything COMPLETELY off and now it's dry but it wont turn off. It's been doing that for about 10 hours now. What do you recommend?

The switches that turn on your ignitor sit on top of the burner valves, under the knobs.

You got water in the switch and it is shorted causing it to turn on the ignitor. All burners spark at the same time in most cases, or should.

I would turn off the power to the unit as it will likely take a long time to dry out and only turn it on when you go to use it.

Or you could pull the knobs and blow air on the switches with a hair dryer to try and dry it out, if it is not entirely sealed around the shaft for the knob. But if it was sealed it shouldn't have become wet.

Or you can turn your oven on like 350 for a few hours, warming up the whole stove to help it dry out.

It likely will quit sparking and be fine once that switch dries out but that will take a lot more time than 10 hours I think.
