My oven will not heat up?

I have a Frigidaire gas range ES100. It is about 7 years old. Lately I have noticed that it does not heat up like it used to. There is a light that comes on under the broiler, but it does not get reach the desired heat. Not sure if it has a pilot light or some type of element, what should I do short of calling a repair person. What may be the problem? Will it be more expensive to fix than getting another stove?
Please help.

Your unit has a hot surface ignitor. The amperage that the ignitor draws when on opens the gas valve. Over time these ignitors get weak and will not open the valve. Most gas ranges have this and it is a regular maintenance item like spark plugs and oil changes to have to replace this. Find a reputable repair service. This should cost less than 150 dollars. I've replaced hundreds of these ignitors working in appliance repair 20+ years.
